Showcasing Mullins' distinctive style in it's most pure and raw form. ‘Poor Little Pretty Boy’ is an ongoing series that precedes the collection of works presented, using intuitive movement and mark-making this series captures lone male subjects in sitting portraiture and shows Mullins’ figurative style most distinctively. In each piece a boy is drawn in the midst of tears, capturing a soft masculinity. Carved faces and muscular beings expressively sad, Mullins wanted to celebrate sensitivity in men, that boys can cry too.
